Providing compassionate care has been the hallmark of The Eisenhower since its establishment in 1970. Shortly after admission to The Eisenhower Nursing & Convalescent Hospital, each resident receives an evaluation.  A team of professionals meets with the resident and family members to set specific goals and develop a care plan suited to the resident.

We take a team approach to healthcare that encompasses the participation and skills of licensed nursing staff, certified nursing assistants, rehabilitation therapists and other ancillary personnel. When someone's daily healthcare needs cannot be managed at home, a skilled nursing facility can provide a comfortable and compassionate alternative.  We endeavor to treat our residents the way we would want our own family members cared for.

At The Eisenhower Nursing & Convalescent Hospital, we work diligently to provide comfort for our residents.  We strive to maintain an environment that is therapeutic and inviting.  Residents are encouraged to personalize their space with small pieces of furniture, family pictures and personal mementos.  There are areas to share time with loved ones or visit with other residents. Choosing a skilled nursing facility and transitioning from home to a group environment can be a difficult process. We encourage family members to assist with the transition by becoming involved in the resident's plan of care.

The Eisenhower Nursing & Convalescent Hospital is Medicare and Medi-Cal certified and is licensed by the State of California, Department of Health Services. We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal and are contracted with some Health Maintenance Organization's insurance.
